Do you still do New Year's Resolutions? 🤔
Here's how I'm able to actually stick to my goals!
Howdy friend,
Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s already 2025? I stopped doing New Year’s Resolutions a few years ago, and now I really just make goals throughout the year. I don’t know why I always fall off when I try to make New Year’s Resolutions, but I do find that I’m better able to stick to goals when I create them as they come to me.
Something I really took seriously in 2024 was fitness, and signing up for ClassPass made a huge difference. You basically pay a monthly fee to get access to classes at fitness studios near you. If you’re interested in signing up, you can use my link to get a free trial and an additional 20 bonus credits! I know it’s so silly, but purchasing cute activewear actually motivates me to work out more, and I especially love shopping from Canadian activewear brands.
I struggled a lot with my mental health in 2024, and I’m hoping 2025 is so much better. I started going to therapy back in September, and getting regular movement has also made a big difference. I’ve definitely been eating healthier than I have in past years, and if you’re looking for new restaurants to try, I’ve got a blog post on the best healthy restaurants in Toronto!
Sleepy Pete’s / Ninetails Coffee / Kibo Sushi
Adam and I had our first little outing of the year today, and it was so nice wandering around the city and getting our steps in. We grabbed breakfast sandwiches at Sleepy Pete’s (so dang good), hojicha lattes at Ninetails Coffee (just okay, this was my second disappointment here), and takeout sushi from Kibo.
Do you still do New Year’s Resolutions? I’d love to know what yours are if so!
Catch ya later,
Jessica
