5 Toronto restaurants to try this month 🍽
Underrated spots you may not have heard of yet.
Howdy friend,
Good food is the perfect way to warm up in this cold weather, so here are some Toronto restaurants worth checking out this month!
🍽 MSSM: If you haven’t had omakase before, you’re in for a treat, especially if you love sushi. It’s basically a Japanese set course meal where the chef prepares everything in front of you. You can visit MSSM in Yorkville or on Ossington, and their 14-course omakase is $98 per person.
🍽 Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodle: This spot makes their hand-pulled noodles fresh to order, and everything is sooo good. I usually order their dan dan noodles – it’s a delicious spicy dry noodle dish! They’ve got a few locations across the city, but my favourite is the Dundas & Bay location.
🍽 Hello Nori: Originally from Vancouver, this spot is making waves on Toronto’s King West. Hand rolls are the specialty here, and each piece is made to order with fresh, warm rice. Be sure to try the nitro matcha tea!

🍽 Tinuno: I tried a Filipino kamayan feast here for the first time a few months ago, and it was life-changing. For just $25 per person, you get to indulge in an incredible feast of meat and seafood! The garlic rice is chef’s kiss. 🤌
🍽 Muay Thai Bar & Restaurant: Located on the central part of Queen West is this underrated restaurant with some of the best Thai food in the city. Order the steamed PEI mussels and pad thai & hoy thod (a combo of noodles and seafood pancake!)
MSSM Yorkville / Mogouyan Hand-Pulled Noodle / Tinuno
